Logistics Damage & Claims Policy
1. Assess the Damage: Evaluate the extent of the damage to your packaging shipment upon delivery. Determine if it’s minor cosmetic wear that can be rectified or if the structural integrity has been compromised, rendering the packaging unusable.
2. Review Shipping Terms: Refer to the terms and conditions in your shipping agreement with YouLi Packaging or your designated logistics provider. This outlines the claim filing timeframe, liability coverage, and compensation guidelines.
3. Review Insurance Coverage: If transit insurance was secured for your order, review the policy terms to understand the covered claim types, deductible requirements, and compensation limits.
4. Calculate Claim Amount: Based on the terms of the shipping agreement and insurance coverage, determine the appropriate compensation quantity — whether it involves a partial credit, replacement units, or a full reimbursement for affected items.
5. Document the Damage: Gather clear visual proof of the damage. Take high-resolution photos and videos showing the outer shipping master cartons, shipping labels, and the damaged packaging items inside.
6. File a Claim: Submit your claim along with your order number, photos, and item quantities through our official customer support channel or directly to your assigned YouLi Packaging account manager.
7. Claim Review & Resolution: Our support team will promptly review your documentation against carrier records. If any clarification is needed, we will work closely with you to reach a fair and satisfactory resolution.
8. Receive Resolution: Upon claim approval, compensation will be issued promptly according to your preference — via a refund, credit toward future production, or prioritized reproduction of replacement stock.
Installation & Folding Guidance
Follow these universal steps to assemble and set up your YouLi Packaging structures effectively. Minor adjustments may apply depending on your specific custom design, closure type, or custom inserts.
Folding Cartons & Corrugated Boxes
1. Preparation: Lay the flat packaging piece on a clean, flat surface. Ensure all pre-creased score lines are facing upward and free of debris.
2. Fold Side Panels: Fold the side panels inward along the pre-scored crease lines. Apply firm, even pressure along the folds to ensure clean, sharp edges.
3. Lock Bottom / End Flaps: Tuck or overlap the bottom flaps according to the structural design (e.g., auto-lock bottom, tuck-end, or crash-lock base) until they snap securely into place.
4. Secure Base (If Applicable): For heavy-duty shipping cartons, apply packaging tape or seal adhesives along the center seam to reinforce load-bearing capacity.
5. Insert Structural Dividers: If your order includes custom Inserts and Dividers, place them snugly into the assembled box base to ensure optimal compartment alignment.
6. Final Checks: Inspect all seams and corners to ensure the box holds a stable, rigid rectangular shape. Your packaging is now ready for product loading.
Custom Paper Bags
1. Preparation: Unfold the paper bag flat on a clean surface with the printed exterior facing downward.
2. Expand the Base: Gently open the top opening while pushing down on the interior bottom card to pop open the rectangular base along the crease lines.
3. Form Side Gussets: Push the side gussets inward along the center crease lines to establish crisp, structured side walls.
4. Load Contents: Place items evenly inside the bag. Ensure weight is balanced and within the bag’s designed load capacity.
5. Seal or Fold Top (Optional): For flat-fold bags or ribbon-closure bags, fold down the top flap or tie the custom handles/ribbons to secure the contents neatly.
6. Final Checks: Verify that the reinforced base card is lying flat and handles are firmly attached before handoff or shipping.
